Mot, just drop the money and get it... John and I will keep it warm for you. :)

Just trying to imagine that (literally) and that just does not make me feel comfortable. LOL!!!

Besides, blue is not my favorite color. ;) (Yeah, I can always paint it, I guess!)

I've been trying to contact someone with another troopy but have not heard back from them yet (Sounds familiar, doesn't it?)

I'm not complaining how many of these in decent to good condition are becoming available State side though!!

That one is a steal and all the hard work is done for you. has title, etc. Plenty of good options. You can paint a whole troopy with about $75 worth of auto paint. Wouldn't let the color slow you up!!

I guess the PS and AC are both huge plules, but one of the biggest questing I need ask myself is whether I want the 2H or the gasoline counterpart.

I would prefer diesel, but I've contemplated and entertained the thought of getting the 2F(wasn't 3F, right?) which has the propane/dual-fuel conversion done/added to it already so I would be able to run propane since I'm hoping that I would move back to Utah where propane supposedly is dirt cheap. (I know gas is $2-ish/gallon now, but...

I was told by another member that he would go for diesel since the cost of resale would be higher and I could probably sell the diesel engine and pick up a 2F/3F and still come ahead.

Maybe I'm the ultimate tire kicker!!

Decisions, decisions!!! :hillbilly:

You know you can do propane injection on a diesel too...

Meaning dual fuel with a propane tank added and choose whichever fuel you want to run??? Not just inject propane to burn cleaner and a little more ooomph?

If so, I guess I just have not seen any diesel troopies with that set up before.

Are you serious??? :hillbilly:

That appears to be a very nice troopy, optioned well. Like JS said "All the hard work" is done. If I were in the market, I think I would look very hard at it.

Hey Mike, it was nice talking to you this evening and let me know if you need anything else.

Having been in the propane business a long time...no you can't. Propane injection for a diesel is an add on injection. In other words, propane is injected into the air induction system to mix with diesel before being injected into the cylinders. It does add some hp but you can not run propane as the fuel source like you can with a gasoline engine. The injection mixture is less than 10% on most systems; 10% propane to 90% diesel.

GGW,

Thant's what I had figured.
Thanks for clarifying it!

I guess I can't have everything, eh? :hillbilly:

It looks like there's a bidder now... (It's not me!;))

You guys better stop posting and bumping this thread so it wouldn't get any more attention than it already has, just in case I'm going to bid on it or something! :hillbilly:

... mot i have talked to you via email on other troopies .
Yeah, of course I remember it as well!

This is a nice one !
Of course you would say that!!! :D

And did you really have to say that, trying to push me over the edge or something? (Not that there hasn't been enough of that already!) :hillbilly:

To be honest I usually do things the hardway (Usually not by choice! :hillbilly:) and a part of me fantasizes me finding a good troopy in a rural part of Australia and going through an ordeal to bring it over to the US. But of course, the other part of me would just want to forgo with any drama and just get one w/o any hassle.

I'm sure most of you wouldn't understand how that is! :D

Mike,

Not that you need it, but here's another bump!! :crybaby: ;)

sold for 10k on ebay...

They should be arrested for stealing. They gave that thing away.
