Slight brain fart on my part...... I just transferred the title on this 40. Washington doesn't get you a hardcopy for 30 days or so. I'll leave the ad up, and I'll be happy to sell it before then, just be aware that I won't have the hard copy title for a couple weeks.

I don't really know what's fair on the price here. I dropped it down to $4500. Feel free to chime in with opinions. I'd like to get it moved, but I can't afford to give it away, either. Drop me an email if you'd like additional pictures.

if you get a buyer, let me know, I can(well Connie can) pull up WA state titles and show that its in process, just PM me if needed.

wish I had the motivation or I'd buy it and make it a wheeler...but just not in the mood this year.

I really appreciate that. I'm sure it sounds kinda fishy; especially with me being new to the board and all. I've been a lurker for a while, but I'm about to become a little more active with a 60 in the works!!

Also, the exhaust manifold leak is being tackled this week, and a new radiator and center arm are on their way...

I also have a line on an intact red/white hardtop for $250, if that makes a difference to anyone.

thinking hard about it but the wife would kill me.

Updates:

Found a cracked flange on the intake manifold while replacing the manifold gaskets. Both manifolds are being replaced with another set that is currently being machined to ensure a good seal.

New radiator and center arm are here. They'll go in this week.

I went ahead and picked up the red/white hardtop, which came with another set of red ambulance doors. Both sets will go with the cruiser. The new hardtop has a bit of rust at the upper corners of the rear doors. I'll get some photos up in a day or two.

The buyer will have first option at everything. If they don't want the original top, I'll let it go pretty cheap. I would expect it to go with the buyer if they are interested in a restoration. The fiberglass caps seem to be pretty easy to come by.

Sold

She's officially spoken for. Congratulations to Jim. I'm glad to see it going to a fellow cruiserhead.

congrats to jim whoever he is. that looks like a solid cruiser to me.

Hooray for me :D:D:D This is my first 40 and am excited about it. I sold my 62 not long ago and now I can change my avatar to a truck I actually own. Thanks Jeff!
