Yes it is!! I can't wait to get this thing back and start putting it back together!! Im shooting for it to be done in September.

Dont shoot yourself in the foot with a deadline... 40 restos are double time with double money, lol.

He's got several friends around that will jump right in when asked and put triple time on it iff needed. Between the say 4 of us, we've got MANY years and Cruisers worth of training.

THANK GOD FOR GREAT FRIENDS!!

Ya know... sometimes work isn't all that bad....
And as the ole saying goes... " You never know what is over the next hill and around the next corner."

While driving down this winding country road,

just outside of Nashville city limits,

I was going to a trouble call cause these folks didn't have any power.

As I turn the corner and he topped the hill,

What did my eyes see...low and behold it was a blue FJ40 coming right at me!!

In a moments notice I could see it was partially restored cause the driver was sitting on a milk crate.

I stuck my hand out the window of my bucket truck and waved the fellow down.

As he roared to a stop, band new mudders gripping the pavement,

I proudly exclaimed " HEY MISTER!! YOU ANIT GOT NO HOOD!"

Hahhahah... there is a song in there somewhere...

Anyway, that is when I met Trey. He is restoring a Blue 77 FJ40. And what fine job he is doing. I stopped we we talk for 30 mins or so... I figured he was on mud and he is not... He is doing this for the most part on his on!! I thought that was commendable!!

Anyway I didn't get any pics of his truck while we were in the road. But I did ask him to send me some.

So here are some before and after.

That's the same color as my first FJ40 before it became Zebranator I. 10/77.

Geeze... That hood looks dented. I hope it isn't.
