Thank you @Rainman!!!

Rainey and I worked on the truck today for a few hours and got a tremendous amount of work done!!
His expertise made putting the front end together a snap. We are real close to getting the gaps fitting correctly!!

Thankfully with him there is no banana jobs!!:banana:

BTW....

I forgot to mention about the paint!

I am going to talk about single stage PPG paint. This may not be applicable to base coat / clear coat.

Without going to far down this rabbit hole, of this I know nothing about, but PPG paint for Toyota 621 Rustic Green is not the "correct color" any more. :worms:

As it was told to me by my painter the new PPG 621 rustic green has a blue "cast" to the color. This is because the chemistry is different from 1979. The EPA has cause paint companies to remove lead and such from the paint and that has changed the "hue", "tint", "cast" whatever you want to call it..... but it ain't the same color..... even though it has the same name.
That is all I KNOW ABOUT THE SUBJECT!!

Because I only wanted single stage.
To get a perfect color match they did a special blend using PPG Fleet line of products! Yes I know PPGs Fleet Line is not the same as their Shop Line or even there most expensive line.... But the Fleet Line is made for commercial vehicles and holds color well, even better probably, but it has less shine to it, which Im ok with...because after all it is a Land Cruiser!!
