No.... heard all offers. Sorry for the confusion Joel. I'm not making anything on this vehicle in reality- the costs of me going back and forth to make the transaction eats most of the cash up in gasoline.

I hear ya let me know

Lee how ya doing?

I've been better. Hopefully the 40 and I will both be put back together soon. All we need is a few new parts.

You back in the world?

What happened to you and your 40? Wreck?

I am back in the world now, been back in san Antonio for a week or so. Besides that dealing with crunch time at school and life.,

High speed rollover collision, in early March. Trashed my 40 and my head. Now in the process of rebuilding both.

Ouch, I'm glad to see your safe at the least. How did your roll bar hold up to a high speed roll over? What caused it? Sorry to ask just curious. I'm definitely glad your recovering. If you need any help with rebuilding your rig please get ahold of me. While I'm not much of a mechanic, I can turn a wrench.. Need any parts?

We're hijacking this thread, but here's the short version. Soccer mom in a mini-van cut in front of me on an IH35 entrance ramp. I veered onto a banked shoulder to avoid hitting her and rolled the 40. Yes, the stock roll bar and seat belts worked. They're the only reason I'm talking to you now. Truck is at the Cruiser Corps shop in Oklahoma City, being put back together. I appreciate your offer but this happened a month ago and I've had time to collect parts. Pretty sure we have what we need. Come to Austin Cruisers and Coffee next month. With a little luck the truck and I will both be there and in working condition.

Hi Kelly. USAA is helping fix the 40 and Aetna is fixing my fractured cranium. Both should be up to snuff soon. I don't know the date of next month's Cruisers 'n Coffee. I think it's the 2nd Saturday in May but don't take that to the bank. I'll post the date here once it's set in stone. You gonna drive Baby up to Austin?

Well there was the matter of a concussion and a brain bleed, but I think there's a few neurons still firing up there.

update:

i towed the rig from where it had been sittin a few years. a friend and i have been stripping parts get the tub and frame ready for blast, weld, prime then paint. got the engine to start with no probs,,, no smoke or puttering:) i even got it to 4th gear around the neighborhood.

i will prolly update a couple of pics next month (if anyone is interested).

Thanks Torrey for the ease of this transaction. i received the title in the mail a couple of weeks after the deal was done.

i am really impressed by the engine after sittin for years and having a few bushes growing up through the engine bay.

This vehicle was kept in excellent condition mechanically, and that is why it runs so good with 400,000 miles on it. Nothing but the best synthetic oils, and I also put Slick 50 in it a couple times for good measure. If I had a garage to rebuild it, I would never have sold it.
