craigslist 1978 45 Diesel in NC

1978 Toyota Landcruiser FJ-45 Diesel 4x4 4wd Truck - $5500 (Mebane)

No relation to it, but its local so I was curious and called. The seller is a dealer. He says it was originally from Panama. It has a clean SC title where he picked it up. He calls it an FJ45 but says it has a 6 cylinder diesel, I'm guessing an H. He told me he's dropped the price to $4000 and is putting it on ebay next week.

It sounded like it had a fair amount of rust. Its too bad about the bed too... LHD diesel 45s are hard to come by in that price range.

it is an H. I drove it a couple weeks ago and explained a few of its oddities to him. Its has a mixture of body parts w/ the fender tag indicating it was from a FJ 45 LV. Starts right up, 4wd works, and has removeable hardtop. Biggest concerns to me were the frame repairs and reinforcements leading me to believe it led a hard life in panama.
