now I want them................

anyone sell the door regulator "Cover Plate" .. the part with the 'X' and four bolts holding it in placE?

Just a thought, maybe you can trace and make a pattern/template from the original, that and a bunch of pics of the parts involved, so he can make some copies

yea but you need the trim and bracket.... that is the difficult part

I'll take enough pictures so that you could make a set. The trim around the handle would be the hard part. The other trim wouldn't be too hard.

I thought that these were available in non-USA markets. IIRC Landpimp had an old thread discussing them a couple of years back. My FJ45 which came from Canada has the panels in excellent condition and they look to be factory OEM. HTH.

I have these panels in my 1972 FJ40 as well. Complete with factory screws.
The PO painted them grey, but the paint is starting to peel.
I plan on redoing mine as well.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen one up here without them.

wellllllllllllllll my truck came from Hundred Mile House BC... and none..............

you have no excuse not to find me a set then :D

It is factory...my 9/74 40 has it. I have eliminated them but still have 2 sets, enough for 2 door sets, of the trim pieces.:)

Maybe I will sell them:hhmm:

I have a set on the doors I got from a Canadian truck. I had not ever seen them either. They are pretty beat but all the parts are there.

Updating an old thread.. I just picked up a set of these doors with the panels. They are dirty (the panels but are not torn and can be cleaned up.) The doors have no rust on them either. Just a bit of metal massage and a cosmetic resto and they would be good to go... Maybe I will put them up for sale as they seem to be pretty rare eh? Pictures this eve...
