I am selling a 73 FJ55. I have had this car for about a year and enjoyed every minute of it. This is a great running truck that has not been messed with. It is very original and fairly clean car. The big issue with these early Landcruisers was rust and this one is no exception. The worst part of the car is the roof. It is beyond repair. I was going to commence a full restoration on the car but have decided its not the way I want to go. I have a very clean straight rust free roof that comes with the car. If you so desire to put it on it is a perfect candidate. There is also rust in the lower rear quarters, a very small amount in the rockers, and in the corner of the drivers rear door. The car also comes with all my miscellaneous parts including various interior and exterior trim and moulding pieces, three rust free straight doors, windshield and cargo glass weatherstripping, and random other pieces. I recently went through and pulled everything off the motor prepped and painted the motor and all components on the motor. I installed a 6 to 1 header and custom magnaflow exhaust. Truck has a four inch lift with all new shocks. Disc brake front end was installed and drastically improves the stopping power over the factory drums. Truck retains original steel wheels and hubcaps with 33x12.5x15 mud terrain tires that are nearly new. Interior is all original not modified. Headliner is tattered and falling out, but complete with all bows. Seats are torn up and will need to be recovered. Original rubber floor mats. All guages and dials work and are original. Just went through and repaired the rear slide up glass and it now works!!! Motor runs great and transmission shifts smoothly. Lots of work done to the car, call for more details.

I hate to get rid of this car but I need something more practical for a daily driver. I am in no hurry to sell the car and am looking for it to go to a good home. As you may know these are getting more difficult to find in decent condition. Always gets tons of attention wherever it goes.

Asking $7000.00 OBO Possibly willing to trade for 93-95 Range Rover Classic LWB worth similar value.

Send me an email or call.

Thanks

You will see in the pics that there is graffiti on the front bumper, that has been removed and the wheels are no longer black but a factory grey at this time

Nice rig and good luck on your sale. I think you should go ahead and post up some more pics of the engine bay and interior. Serious buyers are going to ask anyways. Once again good luck!
