My buddy is selling his FJ55 (located in Sonoma CA) it has a little more than 56k miles on it, 4 wheel drive (both High and Low Range) with external locking hubs. The original 3 speed transmission was replaced with a 4 speed. Power Steering was added along with an Air Conditioning system that runs R134a.
Gary Kardum (an expert in the art of properly building and setting up a land cruiser) of “Mudraks” in Sonoma CA rebuilt this motor less than 8 thousand miles ago.
Other upgrades include: Headers; an ARB Roof Rack; CB Radio; and a 12 volt DC to 120 Volt AC inverter.
Fresh paint less than a year ago. There are a few rust spots where the paint has blistered, but over all this is a really solid FJ55. There is an inner window seal missing from the right front window, so it rattles a bit. The upholstery is in very good condition, and the tires are nearly new.
He has a bunch of photos and I think videos too over at Left Coast Classics. Take a peek here: 1973 FJ55 Land Cruiser
Call Steve at 925-381-7745 with questions or to make an offer. It is currently up on ebay - I don't have the item number off hand but there is a link to it at the link above.
