Selling my 1972 FJ 40. I bought it a year ago and just don't have the time to make good use of it. I hate to see it sit. I don't know much about its history. It has what looks to be the original motor along with a 4 speed. The front end is tight so I assume the steering box has been rebuilt. I don't get any play in the steering wheel. The steering shaft looks to be the upgraded version. The FJ has been repainted and ii can see signs of body filler at the bottom of the passenger doors and around the back end. When looking under the vehicle, I don't see any signs of rusting through the body - so maybe it is surface rust? Interior floor has red bedliner sprayed in. She runs and drives good. Bestop soft top is in excellent condition as is one of the 2 biminis. Interior upholstery is in excellent condition. It has the original 70/30 split bench front seat. Also comes with 2 rear jump seats (haven't been installed). Miles are unknown because ODO doesn't work. Speedo and other gauges work, just this one doesn't. Running BFG 35s in really good shape.
