This Landcruiser has a Downing conversion installed 5.0 liter small block Chevy V8.

The engine is a 1976 rebuilt 305 ci small block Chevy with 9.0:1 compression forged pistons. The engine sports a new HP Isky cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Edelbrock 750 carb, double roller timing chain with aluminum timing cover, aluminum water pump, complete billet pulley set up, new power steering pump, steering column is a Chevy tilt with a Grant steering wheel. It has Accel HEI ignition, MSD wires, 90 amp chrome alternator with Optima battery, Edelbrock valve covers, K&N Air filter, Toyo high flow Radiator with high flow electric cooling fan, all Russell braided hoses, 7 quart Morrosso oil pan with high volume oil pump, Hooker AlumiCoated headers with an all new single Flowmaster out to a dual exhaust system. Transmission is a rebuilt Chevy truck 4 speed with a Borg Warner high performance clutch set up and the transfer case is stock Toyota. The braking system is excellent with 4 wheel disc brakes. Tires are Pathfinder ATR 33/12.5x15’s mounted on 6 lug 15x12 Eagle alloys. The body is all original and rust free with only minor repair needed to be repainted. There are a few imperfections such as scratches, chips, and discoloring but overall is a real looker! The interior was sand blasted and then Rhino-lined from the floor boards to the back. The roll cage is a custom 6 point bolt in cage. Seats are full reclining high back bucket seats with dual arm rests. The stereo system is a Panasonic CD/MP3 with a JL sub, $600 amp and 6x9 speakers all set up nice behind the front seats. I do not have any top for it. It also needs to have the turn signals and wipers repaired. Overall this is a very nice FJ that gets attention where ever you drive it. Get ready for summer!
