Up for sale is my beige 71 FJ40. It runs great on the original engine with upgraded 4 speed transmission. Aftermarket Weber carb and exhaust headers adds some quickness. A blast to drive. Could be a daily driver. I take the top off May through October, and sometimes the doors before then.
Original F engine
Upgraded to 4 speed transmission
37k on the odometer (I'm assuming this is 137k. doesn't seem like it would be more than that)
BFG KM02 AT Tires 235/85r16 with about 3000 miles on them
Front disc brake conversion (still have the original drums if you want them)
Upgraded FJ80 brake booster and master cylinder to power the disk brakes
OME 2" suspension lift
Hard top, full internal roll cage
Weber carb
Distributor cap and rotors replaced last year, timing adjusted
New fuse block
Tuffy Locking center console
Some minimal body rust
Frame is solid
Seats could use some attention. front seats are not original and have fabric with tears. No cushions on Rear jump seats.
Windshield is 'foggy' in the bottom area. Not really a problem but doesn't look the best.
Has a small oil drip.
