It's almost entirely stock including F, 3-speed, column shift, vacuum transfer, even the hubcaps. Has a Rochester carb and MAF 6 to 1 header. According to SOR Tech, the engine was replaced at some point by Toyota (the engine tag only says F with no serial number). Engine runs smooth and quiet. Just passed CO emission test.
I'm the third owner and have owned it for 10 years. Just under 60,000 original miles (prior title and PO verified the miles). Body and interior in very good shape except for rust thru at the rear support channel, a couple dings in right front fender, and headliner falling out. Recently replaced radiator and hoses, brake master cylinder, battery and tires (30x9.5).
I planned to restore and waited to get a 3-car garage but now that push comes to shove my wife doesn't want me to spend my time-off in the garage working on the cruiser. So I'm buying another FJ-40 that's already restored, and this one has to find a new home.
I'm asking for $4000 or offer.
