** Do you have an FJ that you are willing to trade? Let me know as soon as possible! **

Hello, name's Justin and I am selling my 1969 Volkswagen Type 3 Squareback. It has the original 1600 fuel-injected air-cooled motor which was rebuilt approximately 30k miles ago, according to the previous owner. The 4-speed manual transmission has been replaced with a quality used unit, about 2 months ago.

I drive this car about 50 miles per week, to my girlfriends house and back every weekend. The motor idles great, and does not shut off at all, EVER! It takes a short while to start in the mornings, but I guess that's what I get for using 20w50 motor oil, I use it with all my cars and have been for the past ten years.

The car was lowered by adjusting the torsion beam, this can be reverted if you'd like. I included a quick list of the good and the bad. Below, there is a link to more pictures. PLEASE NOTE, this Squareback is one of 72 Squarebacks registered in California. There are a total of only 220 Squarebacks registered in North America. Check out the registry link. Thanks for your interest.

That's a pretty tight little square you've got there. But don't by any means try to fool yourself into thinking that it's a "rare" find. The Type 3 registry is relatively new in the VW world and by no means has a handle on the true amount of squares fastys or notchbeacks rolling around in the US. I could count 100's of T3's on the streets of phoenix daily. Hell just look at he samba t3 gallery you could count 100's of squares there alone.

Regardless... how much for the car outright.

I am looking to get at least $3500. I am not in a hurry to let her go either. All of my VW friends tell me that I am going to kick myself in the balls for selling her, but an FJ is really what I want. I also want her to go to a good owner, someone that will take good care of her and not chop her up or abuse her. Let me know if interested.

It'll take that amount for me to even consider letting her go. What I really want is a trade for a running FJ...
