Trying to move this sweet LV project. And believe it or not, my wife wants a 55. So- I’ll off this solid start (rare LV) for a 55 Driver. Read the below description. Reach out to me if you have specific questions. I can send links to videos of it running and driving (in my pasture). Long way to go but it is an LV.
EDIT— HAS TITLE!
1964 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45LV.
Bought out of Washington state about a decade ago. Other projects have kept me from doing her justice.
Replaced locked Chevy 6 with a period correct and healthy Toyota 1F motor. Three speed trans. Almost new tires/Wheels (5). Rust. Lots of it. Primarily in the mid to front floors and rear quarters. Frame is fine. Still a solid candidate for an amazing platform. Needs a TOTAL restoration (wiring, brakes, body mounts, front windshield, sheet metal). I’ve gotten it to start, run, drive, and stop. So, getting it on a trailer will be easier.
Please let’s not waste each other’s time. Serious inquiries only. Keeping SD40 carb. Have a Weber to replace it. FB Marketplace ad:
