I know this is a double post but for those who missed it. We picked uo this 1970 FJ-40 and were happy to find this Dec 1963 Motor still complete and running. I love these motors. Let me know if you want to get rid of the entire motor!! My 64 has a freshly rebuilt 69 motor that came with it. She may want her original heart back!? What are the engine numbers?

Probably about tenth in line for this. I'm hoping I'm first if he decides to sell. I'll even pick it up locally. I just have to figure out what I've got that Rob can't live without:idea:

This engine is a late 62 production date. Right engine for yours just earlier. Carb is probaby wrong though.
 
Yup, I remember when Rob told me he was going to look at a rig...with an "old" engine...and now I am still looking as well :lol:
