1963 FJ45 for sale in Truckee, CA

Has anyone looked at this rig? I was planning on checking it out this weekend. Toyota Landcruiser FJ45

I talked to the owner on the phone and he stated the motor has been gone through with new intake manifold, new carb, new ignition. No rust on body and none under the diamond plate. He says the rig runs strong and is in solid condition. Looks like it has had some cool conversions done.

If anyone has any insite into this rig, let me know! Thanks.

It has come up on CL and in Mud a few times. Not sure why it has not sold. Looks interesting, I just have not had the time to get up there to take a look. I think the current owner has had it for a year or so, and gave it some refresh and trying now to move it. The price has dropped from $16k a few months ago, so perhaps they are motivated.

No matter what the outcome, post up what you find...Auburn is what 1.5 hours at most to Truckee...five hours for me one way. Good to know if it is a jewel in the rough, or a true stinker.

I need another Cruiser like a hole in the head (and wallet), but I just love the look of the 45 SWB's.
