Depends on wether or not I'm in Clemson

Planning on hunting as well but wanna make it, what time were y'all thinking

AT this meeting lets review Logan's Run and start talking about the December run.

Still a go for the meeting if the weather is good I will try to sit outside

I have had an unexpected change of plans. I will not be able to make it to the meeting was looking forward to it sorry guys maybe next time.

The Clemson FSU game and hunting is probably distracting people. If there are no other posts tomorrow I doubt anyone will show.

CharlestonG8R...if nobody else responds I will meet you to give you a sticker and cards.... There are a couple others said they are coming so will park away from main door as it will likely be crowded due to college football...

I hate Clemson and wont be going hunting until later in afternoon or Sunday.....so no worries there. Not working for two weeks is my only holdup as I have to do some work in morning to play catch up and help the checking account out...haha

nice to meet a couple new guys....Jamie and cant remember other guys name...sorry. For those that have not met them... One drives an 80 series...completely stock but with lots of ideas after todays meeting and lunch. The other bought Ed's (cabinet maker in Summerville) 60 series...tan and pretty much rust free.

Good guys and great additions to our band of dysfunctional Cruiser Heads....they are both excited for the Uwharrie Run in December.

Hopefully they will post more and start BUILD THREADS so we can get to know them and their rigs....

We had some beer, some wings and talked quite a lot while wife ran over to Tanger to do a little shopping...it was a very nice visit. Forgot to take pictures of their trucks so hopefully they can post as well...

They are armed with stickers and cards...so lets get a good group for Uwharrie in December. I will be posting some info (directions, maps, etc) and coordinating with ONSC to ensure the date is good soon. Stay tuned and look for a thread to start within next week for the event.

Thanks again for showing up guys...

Thanks, Brock! It was great meeting you, your awesome wife, and Chappell! My wife has agreed to the sliders/tires/knuckles, so the truck should be ready to hit Uwharrie Dec 7th. She may actually join us! I plan to head over to LexTech and visit Glen. My dad said the dealer rebuilt the knuckles 3 years ago, so not sure what happened there... As far as the sliders, I'm not sure what to do with the fender flares - removing the side steps will leave some unfinished lines on the truck. Hopefully Glen has a remedy.

Anyhow, I got a few pictures of your truck. It's a shame we weren't parked together...

I am looking forward to the next meeting! By the way, are there any dues?

I have been meaning to ask this.... Why don't we all meet at the Charleston cars and coffee... It's every saturday morning at 9 am in town center mt pleasant in the parking lot near Atlanta bread. Usually I am the only cruiser that shows up. Would be cool to have a vintage 4x4 section. Could be a weekly hang out to strengthen the landcruiser community.

Gator.....that is why I said to talk to Glen and get his input on your knuckles...maybe he will say they are just fine...just looked a little dry to me on the joint itself. I am used to them having caked up grease and oil being slung all over everything... so having one so dry on the ball and not shiny at all was a surprise. he will take care of you and lead you in right direction no matter what....

cruiserdds....if you can get some guys to do it go for it. not a coffee drinker myself and until hunting season is over I dont do much else in Fall.

No dues in the club but if we get tshirts, hats or have a cookout...just ask for donations to help cover the costs.

Brock, you were right! Glen checked out the knuckles and they were dry. He said the seals are good but there is no grease. He's packing them now. Need to replace the oil pump seal and other than that, she's in good shape. Debating between WKOR and BIOR sliders now... Gotta order them tonight

Oh, and I'm up for a weekly meeting. 9AM sucks on Saturdays since I work nights... But I could make most meetings (since there is coffee involved).
