Posting this for my brother. He bought a new Platinum edition Highlander a few months ago, which he loves, except for the stop-start system (shuts the engine off at stop lights). Hates it. There is a switch on the dash where you can disable it, but only for that run cycle. When you start the car the next time, it's re-enabled.

Wondering if this can be disabled in Techstream? I have the cable and software, was wondering if it was worth mailing it to him to try.
 
I have a '17 Highlander Platinum as well, I actually use the start-stop feature, I will have to give that a check tomorrow, I will turn it off and I have some client meetings and will see if it is still off when I get back in. But from what I have read, its not something we can turn off, unless the dealer has a way to do it, or you can find the right fuse.
