16.5 liters (nearly five gallons) for 3b coolant flush?

Folks, the manual calls for 16.5 liters for the cooling system. The means 5 jugs of premixed Toyota coolant. Is it really that much? I am also replacing the coolant on my Tacoma (100k service), which only needs a staggering 8.7 liters (just over 2 1 gallon jugs).

Yes it is.

These engines use a lot of coolant. So do the six cylinder ones.
