I am taking my 2000 Land Cruiser in for its 150K service. Here is what is on my list to have done along with when the service was last performed. I am a total novice, so I am just going by recommendations that I have gathered on this message board and trying to reconcile them with my service receipts. I am sure that I have butchered some of the terminology.

I have had this truck since new and hope to keep it for another 150K miles, so I want to make sure that I am properly maintaining it.

What should I add or delete from my list?

service - last performed
a/c filter - 120K
brake fluid - 120K
coolant - 120K
diff fluid - 120K
engine air filter - 120K
engine oil and filter - 145K
driveshaft bearing lube - 60K
propellor shaft lube - 60K
thermostat - 120K
throttle body and injection flush - 120K
tranfer case oil - 120K
transmission fluid - 120K
wheel bearing repack - 120K
starter contacts - Never

FWIW, I replaced the fuel filter and spark plugs at 120K. I changed the power steering fluid and replaced the timing belt and water pump at 90K.

I really appreciate any comments.

disregard... misread a couple things i was going to suggest... i just did a bunch of things recently and i am at 145K now... i will check my list and post the things i did...

I don't see any mention of hoses being changed. If not, I would do all upper and lower radiator hoses. No fun when these go.

I forgot to mention that I did replace the radiator hoses at 90K. How often do they need to be done?

Hoses should be replaced every 4 to 5 years. Heat and age are the main reasons for failure.

Propeller shaft lube needs to be every 3k. And retorqueing the bolts needs to be done regularly.

Serp belt not mentioned but I'm sure it was replaced with the timing belt.

Battery checked recently?

Check or replace the PCV valve.
