I went to my local tire shop to get one of our wheels fixed and there were a set of 4 Pacer wheels with 33" X 12.5 BFG all terrains like new almost and the wheels have the 6 X 5.5 bolt pattern.

Do you think they will work on the FJ40? mine is a 72

Here is the link to the wheel.. I'm not sure the back spacing and all that
Can someone tell me if I would need to put spacers on?.. I'm guessing I would.

all depends on back spacing. 3.75 "should" clear disk brakes but might do a bit of automatic notching. 3.75 was the least amount of backspacing available for that wheel. If you have drum brakes, they will fit for shure. WOrse case, if they are 3.75 and you need a bit more room for disk brakes, get some 1/4" spacers for the front. ANd guess what! I have 2 1/4" spacers still in origional packaging if you need them for the front.

For the money I would go to summit racing and custom order the wheel you want. I ordered some 10x16
2.5 backspace for mine and I am well pleased. I fought this battle for two weeks at every tire shop in town and couldn't find anything that would work. So summit was my out. ordered and shipped in 10 days.

just my 2c

Check that the center hole is big enough for your hubs. I carried a spare tire around for years on a wheel that came from a 1/2-ton Chev, fortunately I never needed it because I only found out when I was replacing it with a stock Toyota split rim that it wouldn't have fit on my BJ40 anyway because the center hole would not go over the hubs.

I love pacer wheels

Sweet!
