In 2007 I purchased a 15' travel trailer from a mud ad. The original ad and pics are still up at https://forum.ih8mud.com/vehicles-trailers-sale-wanted/167465-prowler-mini-camper.html
This is a neat trailer- 15' long, but has full features:
Indoor shower
Outdoor shower
Flush toilet
Bathroom sink
Kitchen sink
Stove
Oven
Fridge
Heater
Water Heater
Sleeps 4-5. Realistically you can fit 2 adults if they sleep together on the couch bed, and 2 kids if they sleep together on the table bed, plus one more on the fold down bunk.
The ad above was somewhat accurate based on Dan's limited assessment of the trailer. It had bald car tires on it, a grey water drain pipe was broken, a gas line for the stove was corroded, there was dry rot in the floor, water pipe was broken, roof leaked, propane tanks were out of date, batteries were shot, etc. So I:
Bought two new Costco deep cycle batteries in summer of 2008.
Bought 3 new trailer tires and wheels
Replaced the wheel bearings
Fixed the stove
Fixed the floor dry rot, plumbing issues and stove.
Bought new propane tanks
Reset the rear window
Thoroughly cleaned it, fogged it inside and out w/ insecticide foggers, washed all the upholstery
What it needs:
Fix the bathroom sink- needs a new P-trap and should be repositioned.
Fix the roof leak.
Fix the fridge. I didn't bother since we have an ARB. We used it as a pantry.
Replace a roof vent cover.
Deal with some cracks in the bath/shower floor. I caulked them.
