For Sale - a 12V BJ Series starter motor in very good working condition.

This was a rebuilt starter that saw very little use, there was a problem with the front drive casting that caused it to be shelved for many, many years.
I have since replaced the front drive casting with a different one that was fully cleaned, inspected, media blasted, and is in very good condition.
The starter has been fully dismantled, cleaned & inspected, lubricated, and tested. I will further bench test it on a prolonged free run before shipping.
The contacts are both the large type and are in excellent condition with some slight use. The plunger is in the same condition - excellent condition with some slight use. The brushes appear as new. Commutator is in excellent condition and shows no wear. Gears and bendix are in very good condition.
$450 CAD plus shipping ($450 CAD is about $350 USD) .
PayPal F&F is preferred unless you are local/Canadian and can pay by EMT.
No credit cards unless you want to pay the additional processing fees (3.5%).
