Looking into a diesel swap. 12HT into an 85 FJ60. The 60 has an H55 tranny. The 12HT has an H55 bell housing. Would like some advice on where to get additional parts, any tricks to doing conversion, and any other helpful advice. Thanks

The 12 HT I am purchasing is 24v. Want to convert to 12v.

What I know so far;

NEED --------------------------- WHERE to GET?
frame motor mount -

Radiator -

fuel filter

throttle cable

Air cleaner

If you got to 12v you will need the 12V alternator with the vac pump and they are around $400 for a quality aftermarket type.
I think you can use the 12V starter(and probably the alternator as well) off a 2H
There should be a HJ60 in canada somewhere for wrecking with the appropriate mounts.
The filter can be substituted for any diesel filter that has the correct flow,there are millions of options out there from almost free to $500.
Aircleaner will work from any non usa 60 series but you may need the rubber tube to the intake,I think these were on aussie ebay cheap.
Radiator will be same as the 2H.If you cant get one from north america,they make good ones in australia for around $400-500 with freight from memory.
Throttle cable,Im not sure but there mayb e some floating around in canada.

If you can find a HJ60 being wrecked you will be more than halfway home
