Mike, check with Georg at Valley Hybrids to get the exact details, but he built a 12v starter for me. For my 2H I think he bought a brand new 12v starter from a 2L. He then took the starter motor out and installed it into the nose cone of the stock 2H starter. Apparently the physical dimensions of the two starter motors are the same. I think the cost was around $200 for the 12v 2L starter from NAPA.
