Time to sell my old girl..

The good
1: It’s a landcruiser
2: yes, it has the magic dial
3: stock , stock, stock

The bad
1: 284k
2: front seats are rough. I mean it.
3: windows are slow in cold temp.
4: lockers have not engaged in about 1.5 yrs
5: infamous sunroof leak

Getting rid of her to find a project for my son. She still has life left, and is bafflingly reliable. Contact for more info or pictures.

When you say the lockers have been engaged does this mean they don't work or you haven't used them for that long?

I’ve turned the dial, but all I get is the blinking. The rear was intermittent, and the front always seemed to go in, but one day, it just kept blinking. Been like that since.

So to answer a few questions. Yes, it does have the center Diff lock switch, along with the front and rear lockers.

So yes “TRIPLE LOCKED” like everyone likes to say.

Yes the AC works, but needs charging.

The engine was gone through at about 200k, just before I purchased it.

One leaky birf,a bit of oil ooze, but no big oil leaks.

try this to see if you can get the lockers to engage....

drive to large sandy / loose gravel field (no grass). Engage the lockers, turn steering wheel such that you drive in a circle to the best of your ability and see if you can get them to engage (circular drive will put pressure on the diffs and maybe they will engage) ....

Guys, got contacted from my best friend and old wheeling buddy from high school I hadn’t heard from in a LONG time. We had a pact that I would sell it to him if it ever came time for me to get rid of it. I could never get ahold of him so I went ahead and posted. He ended up calling me hearing I was selling it. So I owe it to him. I appreciate all of you who were interested. But it is sold and going to a good home. To me, selfishly, it’s like keeping her in the family.
