Hi guys trying to do a timing belt on a 2001 105 series 1hz with the hydraulic tensioner i have lined up the top dead bottom marks on both the cam and the pump is this correct and does the belt go clockwise as per my picture or anticlockwise? I cant turn the engine over to the right with the belt on with a breaker bar but can to the left does that mean the valves are hitting or is it meant to only turn anticlockwise i did only change the belt once i had lined the marks up with the old belt prior to removal but accidently moved the cam about 5mm to the right when taking the old belt off but just moved it back to top dead bottom
any help would be much appreciated thanks guys
