hi all , ok here goes , removed the 4500efi motor and dropped the 1gz fe motor in with twin turbo ( t3/t4 ), now the problem is the cluster is partially dead.
i know the 1fz is running with a 36-2 gear which i have connected to the 1gz ( it has 2 crank sensors of which we only use 1 for the aftermarket system leaving me with a spare for the original ecu , done this before on the 105 when fitting a 2jz gte twin turbo supra motor and it works well ) , fitted the 1fz water temp sender unit as well.
when switching on the ignition the lights light up but when started the voltmeter / fuel guage / oil pressure / revcounter is dead , the only thing working is the temp guage. alt light works.
any hints on where to look.
