07 100, drives and handles fine in drive and at any speed until you put it in reverse. Once you back up in reverse and start to turn the wheel it's like it stops itself and then the steering gets really stiff. Then you can hear the AHC pump start to run. After a 30 point turn you can put it in drive and it will take off and drive just fine. Any ideas on where to start?

Never mind, the center diff button was accidentally pushed in. I am an idiot.

I once did the first hour of a trail with my CDL off (it was after I did a Pin7 mod on my 80) and was super pissed about my truck not wheeling right. Then I realized and felt really stupid...

I was just thinking the other day that it was interesting that Toyota went from CDL buttons on the early FJ/FZJ80 to auto CDL in low (late FZJ80) back to manual CDL on the 100. Auto CDL seems to fit the target purchaser in the US for the 100. I can see a lot of issues in service... "It was raining so I hit the 4x4 button and now it is making all these terrible noises and smells like burning".

Hey, I thought it was a traction control off button because that was the light that came on. When the light wouldn't come off I started researching it and got my answers. I test drove a few LCs with owners and asked about the CDL button, 2nd button, and PWR button. None knew what they were.
