Hello HDC!
I sold my 70 series over the summer and picked up a 100 series. This one has a non-oem windshield and I found a leak after a bunch of rain a couple days ago.
To the other HDC 100 series owners, have you replaced your windshield and who did it? I’ve read plenty about how it can be a fussy task and investing in someone who will follow the factory procedure is worthwhile.
Any recommendations would be huge.
Thanks!

I have a 100 but I still have the original windshield so I'm no help.

I had mine replaced at Horizon Auto Glass on Menaul and Wyoming about 2 years ago.
They were recommended by a trusted service writer at Sandia Toyota.
They knew about the rivets, and ordered all the correct replacement parts for the new windshield install.
They have since changed names, but I bet it’s the same crew of people doing the work.

I will say that you should remove any wiring you may have routed around the interior of the windshield before dropping it off anywhere.
Had a keyless antenna mounted behind the mirror, and the wiring was damaged during the install. I had to diagnose, replace, and reinstall on my own time/dime.

Other than that, windshield seems be installed as it should, and no leaks detected.
