I think we need a semi-regular event, maybe not every year but every couple years at least. Call me biased but I think we should do it somewhere out West. There seem to be more 100 series wheelers out West.

Figure maybe 4 days total, two days for driving and two for wheeling for the average participant.

What do you all think?

Nevada maybe? 1 days drive from most places out West?

Sounds like fun but It might make more sense to just crash one of the other regular LC events with bunch of built 100s. We could do a 100 specific run to the nearest mall for lattes. :D

How about we go cruising around in Death Valley or maybe around Reno, NV there will be some good wheeling around there. Around Mammoth Lakes or Easter Sierras as well.

I think we should do both:D

I know I'm planning to go to Cruise Moab this year. I even "blocked" off the time at work on the vacation chart. And we can just bring our own expresso machine too;)

I'm up for Death Valley or Reno, either one works for me. Those locations are fairly close to a bunch of the forum participants who could make it in a long days drive.

good idea, but can I bring the 80? don't want to get the 100 dirty... :D

I'm going to Cruise Moab next year too. Hopefully, we will have a solid showing of 100's there. I believe Spresso said he was going too. Who else is planning on CM 06?

It's too far for me to do more than one trip out West per year. As it is, I'm already giving up my annual Tahoe snowboarding trip for CM 06. :frown:

Yeah I'm in Texas that at least 3 days with the family, Moab is closer, CO even closer :) .
I've just begun my upgrades and I might change jobs so I'll end up losing vacation :crybaby:

We might have to make an exception for you since you are the moderator and we don't want your wife to kick your butt:D

Guys I know it would be a little far for some but I think we could get 5-10 people within a days drive to show up:idea:

Just kicking it around to see how much interest there is.

Anyways, who else is thinking about going to Cruise Moab?

I'd be interested as well.

You guys wheel your 100s?

Somewhere in Nevada ? Sounds GREAT to me ! (HEH HEH)

I'd do an exped trip in Death Valley!

I am definitely planning on being there (CM06). I might be towing the CM trailer out. Also might like to do some early week prerunning. I need to update my sig, the 100 got quite a few early xmas presents.:grinpimp:

Actually Mr. Smarty Pants, if you are in the host state you may end up doing more work, pre-running and such:D

Damn ! I didnt think of that ...:crybaby:

Well.. You guys decide on the run, and I`ll go GPS it out and such...Oh, and I will be sure to tell ya` all about how TERRIBLE my MT/R`s did .... :flipoff2:

Actually, there are some really great runs throughout Nevada to consider....

How about a "CRUISE THE VEGAS STRIP 06 " ?!! ...I think it has nice ring to it

:D

well, if it's close to Vegas, we may have a better chance of getting the families to come along willingly...
assuming kids' school is not an issue... any long weekend?
