Hello all - new to the forum and have a ‘06 100 series LX. Looking for mats for first and second row. Want rubber/plastic all wether type. WeatherTech sells mats for the ‘06 LC but not the ‘06 LX? Does anyone know if these mats are completely interchangeable? Read through some of the older threads on this but could not find the answer-all advice and info welcomed - thanks

The WeatherTechs (or any mats) are interchangeable between LC/LX.

A lot of guys here don't care for them because the edges tend to curl in after some use and end up looking pretty sad. I found a very heavy duty set of mats shaped for our cars from a company called "Star Diamond". If you check my build thread, I've got pics in there. I love them.

my weathertechs in my 80 series years ago curled and warped pretty quickly. the ones in my 100 have not. perhaps they got enough complaints. also the ones in my g/f's Kona are still fine.

I love my weathertech floor liners. They fit great, provide excellent all season protection and this is my 5th car with these floor liners and I have never had any issues. Here's what they look like after 2 years of abuse:

It took me a while to decide but I went with Lloyd's rubbertitr mat from anything auto sign up you get 20 percent off. The light grey matches great, the are comfy when you in truck with no shoes on and fit well - the rear is 1 piece too which is why I didn't go weather tech.

Don't get any chemicals, especially petrol based, on the Weathertechs. They will bend/curl faster than a perm setting machine in a 1950s salon

I've had decent luck with Weathertechs. Check out Husky, in the 200 they have a lot more coverage up the firewall than WT. Although snow on your boots might not be a big concern for you.

I wish Husky had the high-walled liners for the 100s. I'd snatch them up in a second.

Hiya. New here. I'm trying to buy beefy rubber mats for my '04 LC. I'm learning from your experience --as I've done a bit of searching but not found what I'm after. However, I was having trouble trying to order direct from Star Diamond. Wondering if you purchased direct or through a distributor such as Walmart? I just want to make sure that I order the right 3 piece set for a LHD. As on the Walmart sight they don't list fits for LC 100 series--but do for LX470. Anyway--any information would be a help. Thank you! ~BB

I think I ordered from Amazon or eBay. If they're made for a LHD 100, they should work fine for your LC. They're a great product, I've been very happy with them.

I found this just now: 98-07 Toyota Land Cruiser 98-05 Lexus LX470 Star Diamond Liners All Weather Rubber Floor Mats - https://instyleparts.com/collections/star-diamond-liners/products/98-07-toyota-land-cruiser-98-05-lexus-lx470-star-diamond-liners-all-weather-rubber-floor-mats

Thanks so much. You guys found in two seconds more than I was bumbling around for 2 days! Appreciate your help. can't wait to ditch these carpets!

I have been using the weathertech floorliners like I have on all of my cars for abt 10 years. Some members here don't like them as much, but to me they are second to none!
They provide edge to edge coverage, fits like factory oem and have raised edges to stop gunk and water from rolling off the mats

I have had mixed results with Weathertech. Years ago the exactfit ones seemed heavier / more rubbery. The last set of laser/digital fit ones I ordered for my pickup curl and annoy me to no end. Same thing with a 4runner cargo mat. So, I don't do WT any more.

If I was forced to buy new ones today for the 100 today, I'd be tempted by the Lund Catch All offerings or what @kpecks posted.

Do you have any pictures of these installed? Would these fit the LX? Sounds like the Weathertechs are interchangeable? Are these pretty sturdy?

Yes. It will fit the LX. I will post pics in a little while. I am pleased with how they fit and look.

Sorry for the delay.... for $50 shipped, I’m most satisfied with the mats. I’m not anticipating snow, slush or a whole lot of mud so I’m content with the coverage and protection.
