Just sold my 95 lc and I am looking to replace it with a 100 series, market is full with them, right now, since the gas prices are high, anyway,I was very happy with my comfortable and durable cloth seats in the 95 model.I am interested in finding a early 100 with cloth...after conversation with a local Toyota salesman,I was told that leather was a option in the 98-00 LC,however, they never had one in stock. What is the chance in finding one?,I will be interested in looking at one, just to see if it has the same excellent quality fabric like the old one.Any info would be helpful...just to know if I should give up or not in my search.

Low!
The only one I ever heard about has been on this list.

But, if I had the option, I'd go for a good quality cloth as well (no kids that splatter food all over, only wife...). Never been a huge fan of leather seats until you get up in the VERY high quality found in old Jags, etc.

I would abandon the search for cloth and find one equipped with low miles, factory lockers and with the interior/exterior color that you prefer... then call it a day.

Just keep in mind that you can still order custom fit cloth-style covers to put over the leather seats (if you still wish to later) from a really cool guy right here on Mud :D

Unless you have a dog. Pet hair falls off real leather, but sticks to anything else like a magnet.

Good point! Have two dogs (and three cats), but just hate to see scratches in leather. Have car covered up and dog(s) mostly in back.
