I was looking at 80's today and was thinking that rims from the late (06-07) 100's would look good on an 80 :hhmm: especially the ones from the lx470, so i photochopped (poorly) them on. I was wondering if anone wanted to try them on other 80's so we can see what they look like on different rigs. I used this 80 and this 100 for the rims. and i ended up with this:

I was just hoping to see what it would look like on some different rigs when properly photoshopped.

Take another look and count the lugnuts on each wheel. Methinks you'll notice a difference ;)

Well, I feel like I should have realized why I've never seen it done. I guess I just assumed sequoia rims and 100's would be interchangeable. Now I feel like a total fool, but you have to admit the rims do look good on an 80.

Rims from Lexus gx470/gx460 & 4Runner should fit if you want to look for current Toyota wheels.

Do some searching, I seem to remember there being some questions around the 80 hub size, and the build of different GX/4Runner/Taco/Tundra/Sequoia (6 lug) wheels.

The older (6 bolt) Tundra/Sequoia wheels fit as well.

Backspacing is different between the fzj80 wheels and other Toyota 6x5.5 wheels. To correct it you can use spacers (providing backspacing is greater - seems most Toyota wheels have 5"-5.5" backspacing instead of 4.5" which the 80 has).

Search for wheels and you'll see plenty of pics of fj80s w/ Taco rims, FJCRuiser rims, Sequoia rims, etc...

No one makes a wheel adaptor? What's the 100 series bolt pattern....5 on 5.5?
