Found this in Motortrend Tundra review:

Forget about the clunk…overheating from simple off-roading done by a car magazine (not off-roader) is embarrassing!

Don’t they share the same tranny?

Was it in the correrct range? Dads 200 overheated the transmission in about 30seconds when in high range, selecting the correct low range, no issues.

Dealer can fix the clunk, they just did it on my 22 Tundra and it is way better
