My wife and I are flying from Canada and doing a 10 day trip through Tanzania to camp (in luxury tented camps, all camping gear provided) on the Ngorogoro Crater. We have a 100 Series petrol cruiser here at home and an 45 and 40 series in Botswana at the farm. However, we are meeting friends who are bringing their 100 series diesel cruiser and I am putting together an essential parts list.
My question to the forum is what basic list would you take in terms of parts and tools. We just had the cruiser in for a full tune up, scheduled maintenance, but for nearly 6000 km of driving we'd like to be prepared within reason. I've never owned or maintained a diesel 100 series but am pretty confident with the basics on the petrol. Looking for any guidance. Thanks!
