you'll be fine...

I ran 35x12.5 on my 55 for a while on the stock rims...due to the size of the tire, it wore pretty even as well....

Hey Dave,

I've been going rounds with Josh over this . Once he realized that I want to run the 10.50's that I have on stock wheels he said that it would work. 12.50's would work too but would just look funky. Just remember it's not the size that counts, it's :meh: .

O'kay you fill it in.

BK and Tom - thanks for the info. I figured it'd be okay since some folks seem to be doing it. I just wanted to make sure there weren't any gotchas.

Tom - what tires are you running now? Are you on stock rims?

Dave,

I'm running 33X10.50 BFG mudterrain. They're on wagon wheels wider than stock. I'm not sure how much. Right now I'm saving my pennies for a set of stock steel wheels for disk brakes. I'd like to maybe switch to the BFG allterrains. They wear like iron and have a good ride. Josh thinks I'm nuts for wanting to go to stock wheels. It's nice when you can get your son to react the way he used to get you to react over some of his ideas :hillbilly:

says the man with 33" tires....

remember back in 1991 when 33" tires were big? :grinpimp:

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I was wondering who would bite!!

Tom.

Want to sell those BFG's or trade for some milder tires?

John,

Right now I'm going to stick with what I've got.

Thanks, Tom

I got some stock wheels a while back with the same idea. I want to eventually get some skinny tires to run them, once i repaint them.
