Hi, looking to raise the front of my truck 1" or so. I looked at a few leveling kits. Anyone done this? Brand suggestions? was install easy/cheap? Any other parts or adjustments necessary besides probably an alignment afterwards?

On a Toyota? What gen? Rule of thumb is stay 2.5" or less and do a differential drop (cheap and easy) look into Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts, =leveling kit plus a quality new strut.

1" spacer? Try Revtek, Toytec or Cornfed. Just get a billett one.

I ordered a 1" daystar leveling kit. Just a poly spacer- goes on top of the stut. Is there anything else I'm going to need or need to know/do/expect?

I'm also putting 1" lift shackles in the rear. Anything out of the ordinary that I need to know for that?

If it's a 1" spacer, I believe it will lift it 2" at which point you want a dif drop otherwise you might toast your CVs.

Be careful with the strut compressors.
