I found on another site that there are secondary sensors that will trip the cel if there block offs aren't installed, after the second cold start. I didn't test that out and installed the block offs, they were much easier to get to and install than I imagined. All in, about 2 hours working with my 8yo daughter.

We also got a trip in to the Georgia National Cemetery, it's humbling. Thank you to all who serve, served and supported them!
I have the bypass installed but haven’t done the block off plates yet and haven’t had the codes reappear. I do plan on installing the block off plates, just letting those bolts soak in PB blaster.

Looks like it.
P2432 Sais failure

Where in Atlanta?
East Atlanta. Just dropped it off at the local mechanic coincidentally called “My Favorite Mechanic” on Dekalb Ave. Was stuck in limp mode but made it there slowly. Tried engaging 4lo and disengaging but it wouldn’t engage. Threw in the towel. Will report back when I the mechanic calls me back.

Update: mechanic just called and confirmed it is SAIS failure. Anyone got a link to correct Hewitt by pass? Is this the way? Trying to not spend a fortune but just found out another issue I thought it had is not a concern so did free up some wiggle room in my budget.

best bet from a cost perspective.

I had a place on faith ave, but in the burbs now.

It looks like you have tech stream, you can clear the code with it or something else to get out of limp.

Do you know if the by pass keeps it emissions compliant? Apologies for the stupid questions, this is all new topic for me.

I borrowed a buddies tech stream for the in depth read, I cleared with my OBII scanner and it got out of limp mode for 3/4 of my drive to the mechanic but was able to roll her into their lot luckily.

I’m trying to stay “urban” for as long as possible but the suburbs are pretty inevitable at some point.
