Wanted to share something I've been working on recently and get some insight. Ive got an 08 LX that had a broken rear cupholder when I bought the car, seems to be a fairly common issue since factory design is not very forgiving. So far I've designed an insert that uses the factory base but will fit regular style restaurant large cups/20 oz tumblers and the largest phones that samsung and apple currently make.
Space/depth is extremely limited which has been the biggest struggle to make this work without making it significantly taller which takes more space in the rear when folded up.
Ive currently got about 40 hours of print time and nearly two rolls of filament used, probably about 3/4 of the way done to a finalized and happy with design.
So far I've e confirmed that the rear cupholder is the same for 08-15 LX and 13-15 LC. Can anybody else chime in if different years looks similar?
