bad...dont do it...only reason i did the kit was because of the projectors that come standard in the LX470. I would be more then welcome to show you the kit, but the LC wont take to the HIDs well. You'll look like one of those ricer civics.
pra4nso, where abouts are you? New york? like hoser said, if your going to be in snow a lot during the winter, a set of wheels with dedicated snow tires is key....just ask bwbski, he drives from long island to VT regularly and has those winter tires for the 100.
I would go w/ an extra set of wheels and snow tires plus lighting. 1LoudLX and I use the xenondepot 4300K H1 kit, which uses rebased bulbs to put the focal point of the bulb at the focal point of the projector. Best is to retrofit a dedicated HID projector, but that's a lot of labor or $$$. Fog lights w/ yellow lenses might help see through falling snow (so you don't get that mesmerizing feeling when white light reflects off snow). One peeve I have about the way the fogs are rigged up on the 100 (maybe it's a DOT thing?) is that you can't run with the fogs on w/ the low beams off. This seems like it's really what you want since the fogs look down right in front of your vehicle and, therefore, don't reflect off the fog/snow/rain, while the low's aim more forward, causing the light to scatter more and appear like a "white wall."
its not a DOT thing, its a japanese car thing. Almost all jap cars ive been in wont allow fogs without the lows being on, but our porsches over the years and friends bmws allow it, along with my friends jeeps.
