Does anyone know Part No for new headlights from TLC 06, and which type of bulbs using for Low/High Beam? Is it available with HID also? Happy New Year!

From a post on the 100scool list:

I own a 2000 HZJ105, that recently had some damage to the front,
courtesy of a big bird of prey.
It smashed the front grille, and broke most of the plastic mounting lugs
of the lights as well.
Insurance was to replace all the sections, so I contemplated replacing
the centre grille with a limited edition one, I think it was the 40th
anniversary?
Anyway one thing led to another, and Toyota just released there latest
upgrade, with the one piece lights (indicator/headlights) made from
polycarbonate, and I drove my mates 100 series which was only a few days
old with these new lights, and they did seem better.
Also mine being a black grill from 2000 could do with a bit of a freshen
up.

I have fitted the new lights etc last weekend, and it was a fairly easy
job, the tin snips were needed to fit the new lower filler panel, as the
pop rivet lugs are different.

The parts I used are listed below (Toyota Australia part numbers) the
insurance didn't mind, as the combination light were actually cheaper
than my 2000 separate lights added together.
Toyota have since woken up to this, and just increased the lights by
$140.00 AU each, yes each, the spare parts rep, stated that it was done
to stop people updating the vehicles.,

N/S Headlight 8113060B50
O/S Headlight 8113060B40
Front grille & Badge 5310160360
Vertical lock brace 5320960091
Lower filler panel A 5250660061
Lower filler panel B 5390460010
Lower filler panel C 5390360080
Indicator plug socket 2X 90075-60028
Indicator bulbs 2X 90981-15021

Other things to consider, is that any bulbar made for the pre 2002
model, could interfere, with the new Lower Filler panel that goes the
full width of the car, it is lower, and in the road of my 2000 Sahara
bar, so it too will need some trimming, but I left that for another day,
and just fitted the original bumper bar back on for the time being.

Indicator sockets and bulbs were smaller too, not expansive, just a
pain, as these were not available locally.

The lower filler panels, need to be painted to match your vehicle.

Hope this information is of use to someone else considering performing
this updating :-)

Cheers,

Stefan.
