05 Tacoma ARB bumper Install

Here is what we did to solve the RUB problem, and the bumper looks a hell of a lot better for it...

"Stock ARB"...

We used a piece of cardboard to make a template for the cutting... The line is the same as the fender flare radius...

My friend Rod has mad skills with the plasma cutter... I finished the cutting with a cut off wheel, and shaped it with a flapper. Did not take the bumper off the truck...

Finished, looks a lot better than the "stock ARB" and has clearance for the tires...

Yes, they are the stock 16x7 steel rims.... I had my tires balance recently, and all of my rims are bent from wheeling...

The bumper cutting worked. Now I dont have to be concerned with the tires rubbing/getting chunked up on the tires.

But it dont matter when I get high centered and have to get winched out by a FJ60! Thanks David! White Trash to the rescue.

Matt is using 2.0 SAWS, FTS205 AAL & OME FJ80 shocks. The truck wheels really well and he seems real happy with it. I'll remind him to check over here & chat with you about it.

It is great. I have over 21,000 miles on the lift, with a lot of wheeling, and a LOT of daily driving.

arb looks awsome sure beets that plastic p.o.s. friend of mine had the same truck he smashed the frount end into a snow bank and riped the plastic clean off nothin alittle black duct tape couldent solve untill he ordered his arb
