Just now experiencing the first symptoms of the multi function display failure on my '04 (60k) and am looking for solutions. I've read about the repair shops/ reman units and self repair options. Likely I will just send it out for repair in the near future or get a reman unit if still available.
I have wondered if anyone has tried to install an '05 MFD with Satellite Radio into an '04 and whether the wiring harness is completely different? I have an add on XM device now but it's rather klunky at best.
