Have my 05 lx470 with 140k miles. everything is in great shape. very well cared for. I have been meaning to change the fluid for the AHC system for a few weeks now and just havent had time.
Im worried this is AHC related and hoping everyone here can say it is not. I have been traveling for the last two weeks being home one or two nights a week so I have not had much time to diagnose or look for it so I was hoping yall could give me some hints. My wife told me she was sitting at a red light the other day and heard a "growling" noise from the very center of the dash. I laughed at her description and didnt think much of it. I drove the car a few days later and it there is a rattle in the very center on top of the dash at the windshield. It is coming from the engine bay I believe. It has done it several other times to her now. It only does it sometimes and only when sitting at a red light or idling in the driveway. As soon as you touch the gas pedal it stops. That's what makes me think it is AHC related.
Any advice would be helpful so I can know what to look for when i get time.
