05 GX470 high idle at cold start (1 Viewer)

My GX idles high, @ 1500, upon cold start. Seems high to me. What's normal? If high, suggestions on remedies?

I think they all do that. Agree that it seems high. Mine roars up to that RPM right after startup.

Every Japanese vehicle I've owned does this. High idle ~1500RPM or so for a few minutes and then a gradual decrease once engine coolant temps begin to rise.
