05 GX transmission issue (1 Viewer)

I may have a potential issue, trying to get some feedback as I may be overthinking it.

I’ve noticed recently that between 50-60 mph it sometimes fails to shift, it will creep to about 2500-3000 RPMs and if I let off and press gas it shifts. It does not have any other symptom other than the rpm range higher. No shudder, or noticeable slip, so I don’t think TC but who knows.

Does anyone know the shift points for these? That would help a lot.

Forgot to add. 05 GX, 160k miles, all maintenance kept up. Hasn’t had a flush in years though.

Sticky Solenoid? (Not 100% Sure if this is correct). A fluid exchange isnt a bad idea (simple drain + fill + overflow method)

however before spending money, try pulling the battery out to reset everything and see if the problem still happens.

I’ll look into that, it doesn’t do it all the time. Thanks for the reply, it seems trans issues are really rare in these. Especially for mileage that low. I don’t believe this one ever towed either.
