03-31-07 Tahuya or Straddeline?

Any body up for a run at Tahuya? Or maybe Straddeline? Maybe Brian can tell us how Straddeline looks after this weekend and we can decide. If it's not good, I wouldn't mind spending a 1/2 day at Tahuya on the 31st. Anybody with me?

We would be up for it but Farron has swim lessons in the morning until 10:15.

Maybe we could do a later in the day run? Say 12-4pm? That should be enought time to do the north loop, then anybody that doesn't want to do the south loop can either head out or run the north loop again, and anybody that wants to do the south loop can.

Tahuya it is then I guess. That makes a good half day run anyway. We've been there and know what to expect and given the Kitsap soil type won't run into an real mud regardless of the rain.

Tahuya it will be. Safeway parking lot at 11:30am for a planned 12:00 start time. Same as last time, CB channel 4. Anybody is welcome to join us. Stock trucks will be fine on this run, atleast for the north loop. South loop is up to the truck owner. Who's in?

Maybe... you can't really get lost up there.

I am about 75% in at this point, working out some schedule conflicts. You'd be fine, hell last month was only the second time I had been there! Had you all fooled though huh? Maybe not, I did have some challenges getting us out of the north end... lol

The Waggons did just fine on the run. The Troopy may be a little long on the last little section of trail we took on the north loop, but that is easily avoided. I didn't do the south loop last time, so don't know what to expect there. I will have the 40 again. We have had a lot of rain so a few of the holes should be good and full.
