'02 TLC Daytime running lights no longer always on

I noticed my daytime running lights stopped turning on when the engine is running, the parking brake is off, and my low beams are off.

When I use the fob, the DRL will flash. When I have my low beams on, the DRL will stay on.

I already tried replacing the bulb (didn't think that would help, but bulbs are cheap).

Has this happened to anyone else? Any help would be appreciated.

You changed out the High beam bulb, not the parking light right?

The DRLs on LC's are part of the high beam circuit.

Aha! I do have a high-beam lamp out. I didn't realize DRLs were part of the high-beam circuit! I'll replace the bulb and report back if that fixed the problem.

Yes, this fixed it. I replaced the high-beam bulbs and now my DRLs are always on and behaving to spec.
